| It is here in Conakry, Guinea that I earned my name
"Bonbonfera." My trip was the fulfillment of a life-long goal
and the beginning of a new phase in understanding of the rhythms of life.
The trip is organized every year by Master Guinean Drummer M'Bembe
Bangoura and Michael Markus and it was one of the most beautiful experiences
of my life.
Many thanks to all those who made the trip possible and to those who made the trip with me. These are the pictures that have been digitized. I have many more that have yet to meet the scanner.
